March Madness Survival Guide: Complete Mid Major Breakdowns

Bracket

After Selection Sunday, there is going to be an abundance of resources to help you decide how you are going to fill out your bracket, from talk shows on ESPN and CBS to simulators and calculators and statistics and analytics. Yuck, analytics. So helpful and interesting but SO BORING. Here at Chirp City we’re going to make it simple for you: a complete team profile for all of the mid majors. Let’s be honest, mid majors are the best part of March Madness, and we love seeing them pull upsets (except when they knock off that team we picked to go to the Final Four). Listen, I know you don’t watch the mid majors play, and have no idea about their strengths, weaknesses, what kind of matchup they are favorable against, and most importantly how likely they are to be this year’s Cinderella. I’m here for ya! Let the madness begin!!

If you want, another equally effective March Madness Strategy is to print out a picture of all of the mascots and throw darts blind folded at them, but I’ve found that this strategy could result in collateral damage (sorry Mom).

I’ll be available all week for any bracket questions you may have on Twitter @MrMattCraig or @bsusportslink !!

Editor’s note: this post is going to be updated constantly throughout the week, and added to. So if you don’t see the team/conference you are looking for right now, check back at a later date.
