The Ball State football team passed its first test of the season with a 48-36 win over VMI last week. The competition goes up a notch Saturday when the Cardinals face No. 16/19 Texas A&M.

This is the first ever meeting between the two programs and also the first time in almost two years that Ball State will face a top-25 team.
