When you invest in yourself, you give a bigger effort than you would with anything else.
You will be willing to shed blood, sweat and tears when you believe in yourself.
Yes, it sounds obvious. However, sometimes you have to remind yourself to always believe and bet on you.
If there is anything self love has taught me, it is everything is in my own hands — confidence, happiness and even my level of success is truly where I take it.
So at the end of the day, I have to want it deep down inside and go get it myself.
There are a lot of things I want to do — or dream of doing — and somebody always tells me that it is impossible.
First, nothing is impossible through Christ.
Second, the people who are telling me that are usually the people who were too scared to do it themselves.
You have to try to ignore those people. At the end of the day, I have to always believe in me.
I feel the chances will always be greater if I am in my own corner. Yes it’s “feels good” to have others in your corner, but they can’t do it for you and you don’t need their approval.
We have to constantly remind ourselves everything we need is looking back at us in the mirror. Remember to keep God first, stay pure, stay true and stay real.
Thanks for the read and see you on the court,
JD
