Driven: February

Driven, the Emmy award-winning sports magazine show produced by the nation’s only fully immersive sports media production program, Ball State Sports Link, airs multiple times monthly on WIPB-TV and Comcast Indiana.

In episode three of the season, travel to Chile with swimmer Bradley Ridge, meet the gymnast Sarah Ebeyer and the family she competes against, find out what drives men’s volleyball’s Brendan Surane and meet women’s swimmer Katie Horn.

For the 2015-16 season, Driven is exclusively presented by Stoops Automotive.

Also new to the season, is an enhanced studio set with an emphasis on new technology, camera movement and graphic walls for a better viewing experience.

The monthly program is Ball State’s only sports magazine show covering all sports. The show prides itself on telling the best stories from Ball State athletics.

The show was awarded the state’s best video magazine show by the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters in 2013 and 2015, plus was awarded a student Emmy for best magazine show in 2013.

Produced by J.C. Obringer and Connor Onion. Onion, the radio voice of Ball State Men’s Basketball, returns for his third season as host of Driven after earning Indiana Association of School Broadcasters Best Television Host in 2015. Co-hosting with Onion is senior Allison Luthman.
