#SLSummerSchool: Sports Link Visits High Schools

Ball State Sports Link and Digital Sports Production is in the midst of a seven-stop high school tour this summer, conducting Sports Link satellite camps across the state of Indiana.

The satellite camps, led by Chris Taylor and Alex Kartman, are in preparation for the first high school digital sports production summer camp on the Ball State campus in 2017.

In 2016, the “phase one” satellite camps will visit with a total of seven high schools with programming specific to the school’s sports radio/tv/media students and advisers.

The programming will range from a general introduction, to storytelling to live sports production.  All stops will include a “best practices for college” Q&A.

In addition, Taylor will present at the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters Advisers Conference July 13 in Indianapolis.  The presentation will assist high school advisers in creating cross-platform live sports production techniques and class work.
