Ball State’s James Gilbert has emerged as one of the stars of Coach Mike Neu’s team. With help from the offensive line, Gilbert is one of the most difficult players to stop in NCAA Football.
Gilbert notched a career-high three touchdowns on Oct. 1 against Northern Illinois. He also reached 1,000 yards rushing for his career.
Entering Week 8, Gilbert ranks fourth nationally in rushing yards (864) and rushing touchdowns (10).
