Sports Link To Produce Four Hoops Games In 10 Days

Ball State Sports Link returns to live college basketball productions with four games in 10 days for ESPN 3 and ESPN+.

The slate of games start Saturday as the Ball State Men’s Basketball team hosts Akron at 2 p.m. Senior Alex Thomas is the producer, junior Luke Foster is the director and sophomore Jared Frank is the technical director.

Junior Jack Kizer will handle the play-by-play, sophomore Jarin Matheny is the analyst and sophomore Rachel Berry will handle the sideline reporting.

The Cardinals are riding back-to-back wins for the first time in Mid-American Conference play and looking for a third straight victory in the series with Akron.

Despite its slow start to league play, the Cardinals enter Saturday’s action just one game out of second place in the West Division standings.

Saturday’s game will be streamed live on ESPN 3, available in the ESPN and the WatchESPN apps and on DIRECTV.

In addition to the ESPN 3 broadcast, all games are available on Sports Link’s audio broadcast package on SL Digital Radio.

Following Saturday’s game, Sports Link will produce women’s basketball vs. Buffalo Feb. 20, men’s hoops vs. Toledo Feb. 26 (ESPN +) and complete the stretch with women’s hoops vs. Central Michigan Feb. 27 (ESPN +).
