Sports Link With Two ESPN Shows of @BallStateSoccer This Weekend

Ball State Sports Link will produce the second and third of nearly 30 ESPN productions this year as Ball State Soccer returns Friday and Sunday to the Briner Sports Complex.

After compiling a 6-2 record in nonconference play, the Ball State University soccer team opens its Mid-American Conference schedule when Central Michigan makes the trip to Muncie Friday and Eastern Michigan visits Sunday.

Senior Dylan Thompson is the executive producer, while sophomore Tristan Russell is the director. Junior Jared Frank is the technical director.

The weekend’s talent team includes Jack Kizer (play-by-play), Jarin Matheny (analyst) and Preston Husband (sideline).

The broadcasts will feature nine cameras and produced from Ball State’s centralized fiber control room in the Ball Communications Building.

Ball State opens league play this weekend looking to build on its previous success in the MAC. The Cardinals are 13-6-1 in league openers and won last season’s opener against Toledo.
