
Ball State Sports Link students return to ESPN+ Friday night for a Mid-American Conference showdown between Ball State and Eastern Michigan.
Ball State enters the week with an opportunity to win its third consecutive Mid-American Conference West Division title. If the Cardinals win both matches this weekend, they will be guaranteed at least a share of the title.
Friday’s ESPN+ show, features junior Jarin Matheny as the executive producer while sophomore Faith Denig will direct. Senior Luke Foster is the technical director.
The telecasts will feature six cameras and produced from Ball State’s centralized, fibered control room in the Ball Communication Building.
Junior Shaemus Kreider will call the play-by-play, while sophomore Baylen Hite will provide the analysis. Freshman Clay Bryce is the sideline reporter.

With a 7-4 home record this season, including five-set wins over Toledo (Oct. 31) and Buffalo (Nov. 2) in the last home weekend, Ball State maintains a 275-87 (.760) all-time record in Worthen Arena, including a 199-51 (.796) mark versus MAC foes.
No league foe has a winning record at Worthen Arena with EMU entering Friday’s match at 5-25 (.167) and CMU entering Saturday’s contest at 5-20 (.200).
