Ball State Sports Link opens its 2021 Spring semester of live productions on ESPN platforms with four shows in seven days, starting Thursday with Ball State Men’s Volleyball vs. Lincoln Memorial.
The two teams return to action Friday, also on ESPN 3, before Ball State men’s basketball welcomes Buffalo to Worthen Arena Feb. 2 on ESPN+. The focus returns to men’s volleyball Feb. 5 vs. Fort Wayne on ESPN 3.
In total, Sports Link students have potentially 65+ live broadcasts in the next 14 weeks ranging from ESPN platforms, SL Digital Radio and studio programming.

Faith Denig is producing this week’s matches, while Tristan Russell is directing. Cameron Surdyk is the broadcasts technical director.
Peyton Monnell and Baylen Hite are this weekend’s announced team.
Men’s volleyball’s veteran outside attacker Blake Reardon had an impressive start to the 2021 season earning All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Offensive Player of the Week honors. Reardon was an offensive threat this weekend in both matches at George Mason, helping the Cardinals to a 3-1 victory over the 13th-ranked Patriots on Saturday.
SL Digital broadcasts can also be heard live on Twitter and Facebook (@bsusportslink), on www.ballstatesports.com in 2021, and through the Ball State Athletics mobile app. Hite will serve as the director of SL Digital this semester.
