Sports Link continues its 2021 spring semester with its fourth ESPN broadcast in seven days as Ball State Men’s Volleyball hosts arch rival Purdue Fort Wayne Friday night.
The match will be televised and available on ESPN 3 at 7 p.m.
Tristan Russell is the match producer, Cameron Surdyk is directing and Faith Denig is the technical director. Ryan Klimcak and Baylen Hite will have the call.
In addition to the ESPN 3 broadcast, Charlie Maurer and Andrew Willett will have the call both nights on SL Digital Radio, streaming live on Twitter and Facebook.
In total, Sports Link students have potentially 65+ live broadcasts this semester ranging from ESPN platforms, SL Digital Radio and studio programming.

Friday’s match is the opener for both teams in Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association play, while also the season opener for PFW.
One player to watch this weekend is junior outside attacker Kaleb Jenness, who was named to the Preseason All-MIVA team. The Cardinals were picked to finish third in the preseason poll.
Jenness finished the abbreviated 2020 season with a team-high 246 kills to earn a spot on the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American Honorable Mention Team.
