MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State football program will hold its annual Pro Day on Friday morning, streamed live online.
Ball State Sports Link will produce the event live from the Scheumann Family Indoor Practice Facility which will air on the Ball State Football Twitter account (@BallStateFB) and via the All Access portal at BallStateSports.com.
The event is set to begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. and will feature coverage of Pro Day drills plus interviews with head coach Mike Neu, Cardinals assistant coaches, scouts and Ball State’s NFL hopefuls.
Five Cardinals are slated to participate — receiver Antwan Davis, long snapper Joseph Greenwood, running back Caleb Huntley and cornerback Antonio Phillips from the 2020 team, plus linebacker Jacob White from the 2019 team.
Current Ball State safety and Sports Link member Bryce Cosby will provide analysis of the event alongside Sports Link senior Ryan Klimcak. Kimcak, Luke Astle and Dennis Collier are the producers
The Ball State players are looking to display their skills in hopes of earning a shot at professional football. One of their former teammates Danny Pinter was selected in the fifth round of last year’s NFL Draft and recently completed his first season as an offensive lineman with the Indianapolis Colts. This year’s draft is set for April 29 through May 1.
Ball State is coming off an historic season, winning its first MAC Championship since 1996 and notching its first-ever bowl victory in the Arizona Bowl. The Cardinals won their final seven games — two over ranked opponents — to finish 7-1 and end the year at No. 23 in both the AP and Amway Coaches polls.
