The Ball State Women’s Soccer team is coming off a two-game losing streak and has another tough matchup on the way. After falling to both Bowling Green and Toledo, the team looks ahead to Thursday as they take on the Ohio Bobcats.
At this point in the season, the Cardinals are yet to lose three games in a row and will try to keep it that way against the Bobcats.
On the other side, the Ohio Bobcats have won three games in a row and have not lost since September 19th.
Despite both being in the Mid-American-Conference, Ball State (4-7-1) and Ohio (9-3-1) have not been on the same field in almost two years. The last time these two teams went head- to-head was on October 27th, 2019. In that matchup, the Cardinals were able to take the victory in overtime by a score of 2-1.
This game seems to be a must win game for the Cardinals as the end of the season approaches. With only five games remaining on the schedule, Ball State looks to repeat what they were able to accomplish just under two years ago at Briner Sports Complex.
