Volleyball Hosts Dayton On ESPN+ From Sports Link

The Ball State women’s volleyball team will look for its ninth win of the season Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. against Dayton on ESPN+.

The production is the first of the new academic year for the students of Ball State Sports Link, the national leader in sports media production. Adam Duwell is producing, while Rachel Henderson is directing.

Charlie Maurer, Lexi Eblen and Madison Surface are the announce team for the broadcast.

Ball State (8-1) received votes in the AVCA Top 25 Coaches Poll for the first three polls of the season and was a perfect 3-0 at its home tournament last weekend with wins over Arkansas State, Alabama and Green Bay.

Marie Plitt averages 2.60 kills/set while swinging at .415 to go with 0.71 blocks/set for the Cardinals. Megan Weilonski serves as the primary setter with 10.34 assists/set and Maggie Huber gets under a team-best 4.29 digs/set to lead Ball State.

Dayton (5-4) is coming off a 2-1 weekend at its own Dayton Invitational, picking up wins over Villanova and Missouri State before falling to 25th-ranked Illinois.
