
Ball State Sports Link returns to the pitch Sunday with its second live production of the new school year for ESPN platforms.
Ball State Soccer hosts Eastern Michigan at 1 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 25) at the Briner Sports Complex. The match will televised live on ESPN 3.
Sarah Akins is the broadcast producer, while Drew Hurst is the director. Rachel Henderson will be technical directing. Jovanni Alcantar and Emma Potter are on the call, with Andrew Willett on the sidelines. Potter is a Sports Link student-athlete as a member of the Cardinals’ Track & Field team, too.
The Cardinals are led by Avery Fenchel with four goals on the year. Corcoran, Delaney Caldwell, and Lexi Fraley are tied for second on the team with one goal each. Emily Roper has the team’s lone assist. Moser has been the final line of defense for BSU and has made 26 saves on the year.
Eastern Michigan enters the week with a 1-4-2 record. BSU enters Sunday with an overall record of 14-8-3 against EMU. The Cardinals and Eagles battled to a 0-0 draw last season, but Ball State has won two of the last three meetings. Ball State is 7-4-2 against Eastern Michigan in Muncie.
