After Ball State finished its season with seven straight wins, including two wins over Top 25 opponents, it was about time Ball State football got the respect it deserves.
Martin, who entered the day sixth in the nation at 12.3 tackles per game, totaled nine total tackles, eight of which were solo, to go along with one sack and a tackle for loss.
The defense finished the game only allowing seven points in the last 24 minutes.
There was one player who stood out above the rest — inside linebacker, Brandon Martin.
After months of shutdowns, inactivity, uncertainty and cancellations — Ball State football is back.
