The beginning of Mid-American Conference play will all start at Briner Sports Complex this Thursday at 4 p.m. as Ball State hosts Eastern Michigan.

Ball State athletics showed out at home as four different teams hosted over the weekend, while men’s tennis got its season started at Purdue with several dominating performances.

Despite the Cardinals suffering a tough loss at Wyoming this past Saturday, wide out Jayshon Jackson had a monstrous day with 10 receptions for 92 yards.

The Ball State Women’s Volleyball team was clicking on all cylinders in their 2021 home opener sweep against Northern Kentucky on Friday.

Ball State will take on its third non-conference opponent this Saturday in more unfamiliar territory as the Ball State Cardinals (1-1) take on the Wyoming Cowboys (2-0) in Laramie, Wyoming. 

Ball State women’s volleyball has spent its last three weeks on the road, coming away with an impressive 8-2 record. The Cardinals make their home debut on ESPN 3 this Friday at 6:30.

Another week, another non-conference matchup on the road for the Cardinals. This Saturday, Ball State will travel to Wyoming in hopes of getting back in the win column against the Cowboys. 

This week marks the second matchup of a two-week road trip for the Cardinals, as they travel to Laramie to take on the undefeated Wyoming Cowboys in a non-conference matchup.
