After five days at the Women’s Final Four, Matt returns with lessons that we can learn before the NBA Playoffs start. Players’ relationships with the media, and managing egos, it’s easier said than done!

Week 5 of the ICE League: Season 2 gives us more highlights, as well as lessons that Mick Tidrow has learned from working with the league.

Good prospects make for good NBA players, right? Matt and Ken would disagree with you. The guys look into what makes a young NBA player successful, with an emphasis on situation and circumstances.

Is it the color of the jerseys? Cool mascots? As we all look back at our busted brackets from round one, it’s time to take a hard look at alternate bracket strategies.

How old is too old to coach? The guys look at the possibility of Phil Jackson returning to the bench for either New York or Los Angeles. From there, we look at the comparison between Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, and Gregg Popovich. Who’s been the best as a coach and general manager? Finally, who’s going to be the greatest coach of the young generation, Brad Stevens or Steve Kerr.

As you set your brackets, it’s important to take a sobering look at what’s going to happen. Even though the magical upsets and Cinderella runs, they aren’t going to help you win any office or family pools.
