Ball State gets ready for a big weekend ahead as they start with MACtion in Athens against Ohio followed by a 1 p.m. matchup with Indiana on Sunday at the Briner Sports Complex on ESPN+.

As the Cardinals get set to take on the Rockets in the first MAC game of the year, here are a few players to keep an eye heading into Saturday’s 2 p.m. kickoff.   

Ball State returns home after spending the last two weeks on the road as they face off with MAC West rival Toledo.

Despite the Cardinals suffering a tough loss at Wyoming this past Saturday, wide out Jayshon Jackson had a monstrous day with 10 receptions for 92 yards.

The Ball State Women’s Volleyball team was clicking on all cylinders in their 2021 home opener sweep against Northern Kentucky on Friday.

Ball State will take on its third non-conference opponent this Saturday in more unfamiliar territory as the Ball State Cardinals (1-1) take on the Wyoming Cowboys (2-0) in Laramie, Wyoming. 

Ball State women’s volleyball has spent its last three weeks on the road, coming away with an impressive 8-2 record. The Cardinals make their home debut on ESPN 3 this Friday at 6:30.
