Every year there’s a debate over what the best conference in college basketball is, but this year I think the answer is obvious. Plus, tons of great games! I make my first upset lock of the year, and name Tom Crean’s doppelgänger.

College Basketball players had a better Thanksgiving break than you. Season 2 of the March Madness Survival Guide rolls on with my love letter to the Monmouth bench, my skepticism of Ben Simmons, and my utter fascination with Bill Walton.
Well, now Mamba can rest. Just as we predicted more than two weeks ago, Kobe is going to be hanging it up after this season. And while it’s not exactly a dream ending, we choose to look at the greatness of the Black Mamba. Is he the greatest Laker of all time? Where does he rank in the greatest player of all time discussion?
We’re a long ways from March, but the upsets are already coming left and right. Without any “great” teams in the country, sound the alarm!!
