Bartlett, @BallStateSB Ready For 2016 Season

Coach Megan Bartlett enters her first season as head coach of Ball State Softball.

This season, the Ball State softball program welcomes new head coach, Megan Ciolli Bartlett.

A Terre Haute native, Bartlett played four years of collegiate softball for the University of Notre Dame, winning four Big East regular season titles.

Upon graduation, Bartlett was the Notre Dame career leader in hits and stolen bases. She was the 2004 Big East Player of the Year, as well as a two-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American.

Bartlett played two years at the professional level with the Chicago Bandits, and won two regular season titles with the team.

Bartlett brings nine years of coaching experience at the Division 1 level. She began her coaching career in 2006 as a graduate assistant at Loyola University (Chicago).

She has also served as an assistant at Northern Illinois, DePaul, and most recently Purdue University.

She is the ninth head coach in Ball State softball history.
